Terms of publication
The editorial team complies with the requirements of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine set forth in Order No. 56 of January 19, 2026, “On Amendments to the Procedure for Compiling the List of Scientific and Professional Publications of Ukraine,” and therefore reserves the right to regulate the number of articles published in each issue, to close the submission period for a particular issue earlier than planned, if necessary, and to postpone the publication of an article to a subsequent issue, subject to prior agreement with the author.
To publish an article in the scientific journal "New Ukrainian Law" № 5, 2026, it is necessary to take the following steps until September 22, 2026:
- fill in an application;
- send an article, formatted in accordance with the requirements to info@newukrainianlaw.in.ua
The article is published with the author’s photo, which is sent to the editorial office in electronic format.
No more than one article by the same author (co-author) may be published in the issue.
The editorial board encourages authors to submit manuscripts in English to facilitate the international dissemination of research findings.
Prohibition to refer to the aggressor state’s scholarly papers
It is prohibited citing and including in the reference list russian-language contributions published in any country, incl. papers written in other languages but published in russia and belarus.
Academic integrity
The Editorial Board guarantees high-quality anonymous peer-review of articles and their check for plagiarism using StrikePlagiarism.com by the Polish company Plagiat.pl.
The editorial board reserves the right to reject articles of authors who do not comply with the requirements. The editorial board may not share the ideological and scientific beliefs of the authors. The authors are responsible for the accuracy of quotations, surnames, references and facts contained in the text of provided articles.
Submitted manuscripts are subject to editing, peer review, and plagiarism check.
If the article successfully passes peer review and is accepted for publication, the author will be provided with bank details for payment of the publication fee.
After making the payment, the author must send a scanned copy of the receipt to the editorial office.
The publication fee is UAH 2,200 (up to 12 pages). Each extra page is charged at UAH 50. The publication fee covers the costs associated with the processing, peer review, and publication of the article.
The editorial board accepts individual articles submitted by postgraduate students enrolled in state-funded programs for publication free of charge, provided that the manuscripts are authored solely by the students (without co-authors), comply with the journal’s requirements, and adhere to the principles of academic integrity.
Along with the manuscript, postgraduate students enrolled in state-funded programs must submit a certificate issued the graduate studies department confirming their enrollment. The certificate must be signed by the head of the relevant department and bear the its official seal.
Authors may also order a printed copy of the journal. The cost of a printed copy is UAH 1,000 and is payable in addition to the publication fee.

Journal electronic version will be available on the website before November 30, 2026.
Authors who ordered a printed copy will receive it before December 30, 2026.
